or u can do like i do when monking in pvp, 1-8 on numpad for selecting teammembers, 1-8 above ur normal keys for skills

but i do agree and HATE the new small tiny bars
like i said in my other post, add a TINY option for those wanting smaller interface
small WAS perfect, it now sucks

I really like the new health bars, it takes up alot less space, which is why I use it on the small setting. I ususlly just use the numbers for the party members, so it didn't bother me when I was playing on my monk.

You also have the option of putting the interface on normal, but resizing the skill bar down if you want the bigger party window with everything else smaller.

If they're to small just lower your resolution a bit. Personally I have no trouble monking with the bars being a bit smaller than normal.

No. I use an LCD and have to run at a set resolution. Furthermore, I shouldn't have to run at a non-native resolution just because the UI was needlessly made smaller.

Oh my, those smaller bars are simply horrendous. Changing interface size to medium or even large doesn't solve this either. It's like they're cut off form the top and bottom. If it ain't broken....

i have mine set to normal and the bars are still ridiculously small...i tried monking aswell and clicking the little bars is just too much of a pain:S i would do that numpad thing but im on a laptop which doesnt have a numpad

the enemy health bar is also small although this can be customised (which i have done) but its just to out of proportion with the party health bars..

the chat window is also annoying me because it shows all the previous chat when u zone which makes it harder to tell when the events actually occured...i mean u can afk for 30 mins then zone and a message would still appear to be fresh not to mention the bottom of 'y' and 'g' and underscores dont show up

i tried switching my interface to large but everything else is just too big...i agree with all those people saying that the party health bars should be customisable or at least the option to revert it back to the way it used to be...seeing as some people like the new one... but i think was great before

the problems are easily fixed lets just hope that anet fixes them soon so i can get back to monking..and get back to zoning without being hassled by old messages

Also, this was a change to the "small" interface size, so the other interface sizes are unchanged. Playing in larger interface sizes will obviously increase the bar size, so you may want to try that if they are too small in the "small" size.
Please put small interface back as it was.
Party Bars are too small
Text in chatbar is getting cutoff
XP Toolbar is flickering through from windows all the time.

how you play doesn't help us. i'm demending the option to customize the party window health bar size because it's simply unfair. it's the only item on the interface we can't touch and yet it's the most vital one for a monk.

i hope people will read back my original post. i changed it, added better screen shots that will help all the non-monk players understand our problem.

i don't mind the smaller bars at all tbh (and i do quite a lot of monking and bipping). if anything, i'm happy the party window takes up less space. i've always found it to be unnecessarily large. my .02 anyway.

I like the older version of the party bar more. Its now too small to easily click on a name as I noticed when monking earlier. The smaller party box isn't needed for monks since its not like we're watching everything else that happens much so it getting in the way of the action on screen doesn't matter. When I'm using another character I just moved the party box and shrunk its width and height.

I like the new smaller party bars because when healing, more space between where my mouse is and where I want it to be means a longer time before I select the party member and heal them. I have my mouse set at the highest sensitivity (my mouse doesn't have a setting on it for added sensitivity as some do, I set it in the windows CP). Anyway, I can see it's a matter of preference for most people. Hopefully in an upcoming update we will be able to further customize the party window to what we want, since everyone has different preferences, play styles, etc.

I personally like it. Looks better and I didn't notice a difference in efficiency when I was monking today.

No offense but thats some down right BS. With windows speed at its highest setting, you wouldn't want them smaller for risk of overshooting the bar and click on someone else. And at max that speed is so minimal that between your reaction time and the computer/internet speed, it won't matter.

I play on 1440x900. Widescreen. And small was the perfect size, for playing and for my eyes. Now the party bar is the same if not not smaller than the normal font size in guild wars. Thats even a notch down from the highest i can go.

But the fact of the matter is, the bar change was not necessary. If you pve and want a smaller bar just shrink its width or buy a better monitor.

I kinda like the new one better, but I would sugest, in a future update, to make it customizable, so people who feel more confortable the old way, can change it back, like dmg numbers size.

ok, just my 2 cents here.

Personally, I love the smaller bars. I hate having the background blocked by a big 'ol party display. Most of the time I'll just close the party window if I'm not supporting my teammates.

On the other side, I have not tried monking yet since last night's update and I think that I will probably agree with most of the posters that the smaller size is inconvient for support characters.

Andrew, would it be a quick and simple change to add a party window style option in the F11 options panel? That way my warrior can have the small style and my monk can change to a bigger window.

None taken, but obviously it's not BS to me, because at top windows mouse speed for some reason my optical mouse isn't near as fast as I would prefer (which is why I am going to buy a more precise, customizable mouse). In any case, for me that's how it works. I have an LCD 19" monitor, not widescreen. I run it at 1152 x 864, which would obviously make my bars appear larger than yours, which is why you don't like the changes and I do, as well as why you think my statement is BS. Like I said before:

I mean i only say that because I've tried it on its highest setting before and the mouse flies across the screen on a single twitch. But i guess it depends on your mouse to. But whatever, your the one whose been playing with it so I'll just have to take your word for it. But it still seems odd that on the highest setting, it works better for you when its smaller than larger. *shrug*

Oh well. Just give us an option and it will make everybody and their eyes happy again.

Even as a ranger I find the bars annoyingly small now. I'm not even gonna try my monk because I was a crap healer before the change .

1280x1024 btw.
